General comments: | I bought my 2001 Audi A6 with 57,000 miles, I now have 97,000. During the time I have only replaced the passenger headlamp bulb and passenger taillight bulb. I have replaced the battery and the car is currently in the shop for the alternator. I think for the amount of miles that I have put on the car, that is very few and minor repairs. I am very impressed with the interior of the car, very beautiful, and the overall quality of the car. At 97,000 miles, the car still drives solid and has no squeaks. I can't say the same for BMWs. I think Audis are the best German cars out there for the money. MBs are overpriced and BMWs have too many squeaks and noises. The 2.8 V6 and Quattro is excellent, I would like a little bit more horsepower, but there is always the 4.2 A6. That would be very nice with a 6 speed. |
What things have gone wrong with the car: | My only complaint are the cupholders, there are plenty of them, but the quality is poor. The cup holder in my center console broke not too long after I bought the car. |
