| General comments: | It is a nice vehicle other than the gaskets & seals. The 4-wheel drive works very good. I drive it to work every day rain or shine or snow. |
| What things have gone wrong with the car: | I have had a lot of major problems with the gaskets. I had to replace the head gasket. No it had NEVER been hot ...my certified Ford mechanic told me there was overspray on the engine from the original painting. Now I find out that I have a coolant leak, transmission pan leak, oil pan gasket leak & main rear seal leak. Will it never end. The suv has only 112,000 miles on it. I have owned it since 1999. I do not rev it or abuse it. It has highway miles on it and is driven every day. Other than that the body is in excellent condition. Interior is holding up well. |
