Take it back to where it was...the car is designed to run that way...warm-up rev is higher than normal. Once the engine warms up, the engine idle rev willl drop by 100 to 200 RPM. |

If your idling is set to 1000 RPM, I guess your out of gear, when you put it back into drive, does it try and spin the wheels? should be round 600RPM,warm, if its like mine. When I drop it into drive, it doesn't try and break my neck |

My 1997 Toyota townace caburator engine runs with uneven rpm. Even after the engine is warmed up, I switched off for a minute and restart it runs on uneven rpms ( high and low) when idling. However, when accelerating or revving up engine it seems to be ok. My mechanic does not have the old diagnostic toe and cannot solve The problem. Can anyone help? Or has a similar problem? Thank you Keven |
