| Problems: | mitsubishi chariot 1999 model,car can only reverse and it does not move forward thou the drive gear engages. i have tried to check the gear box oil and also the terminals cos i had ealier washed the engine but it seems am not finding a solution. what could be the problem | |

| i have the same problem like yours, i have a 93 model chariot.. .. i did also the change automatic transmission fluid and filter change.. ..glad i found a good mechanic, we pull down the whole transmission and try to see the problem.. here it is.. clutch lining of 1st and 2nd gear are burned and theres no bond on it.. we change it, we go to surplus auto shop and glad we found the same. now i can drive smooth and no problem at all |
