Problems: | After a steady driving 200 km or so the car engine stops fireing and stalls. Few minutes afterwards the engine restarts but stalls again after 10 km or so. The problem seems electrical but why after a long distance drive? Otherwise the car starts fine. |

Same problem here in Scandinavia. I'm trying to find a solution. My problem was partly solved when I removed a fuel filter that had been added to solve the problem priviously. The filter had been on since the fuelpump had been replaced a year or so ago. When removed, the car ran better, only expering the problem at speeds above 110kmh after aproximately 40 minutes of driving. Now a few months later, the problem apeares even at speeds below 50kmh, when excellerating. My hypothesis at the moment is a fuelhose narrowing after heat apearing in the engineroom or some kind of vaccum minimizing the amount of fuel / air. All electrical parts involved in ignition has been tested and/or replaced. My next idea is to replace the hose to see how that would work. ANY OTHER IDEAS ARE MORE THAN WELLCOME. |
