2011 Toyota RAV4 transmission slips when cold. have to warm up with transmission in neutral, periodically trying drive. the last time it was only 10 below problems in Canada

| Problems: | After sitting overnight on a cold day, the car sometimes won't move because the transmission slips. I then put it into neutral to warm up, occasionally putting it into drive to check it out. |

| My Rav4 model 1995 has difficulty in climbing gentle slope, it delays changing gears. This problem is worse in the morning, I have to warm it for about twenty minutes before I drive. What could be the problem and what solutions. |
