Vehicle:Chery Tiggo T11
Year:2013
General comments:The car was taken for it's second annual service on 27 June 2013. This problem was brought to the attention of the service department in Pinetown. They reset the gearbox and ECU for the gearbox, but this did not solve the problem.
Problems:While driving at speeds of 90-120 Km's per hour, the car suddenly jerks as if going into a lower gear and the "transmission malfunction light" comes on. The car becomes sluggish and very laboured. I have to pull off to the side of the road, switch off the engine and then restart for the warning light to go off. This happens repeatedly on long journeys on the highway/freeway. The car is tiptronic and it happens when driving in automatic and manual.

The issue is that when the car is settled in a computer test it shows all kind of erraticall codes. It seems to be sluggish, seems to shift to lower gears on its own, check engine light comes on...etc. Get a new computer or at least get a rebuild one....then you will allow the computer to set and driving again.
I have Chery Tiggo 4x2 2010 and its giving issues with clutch and the shifter control cable
