| General comments: | I Think is the gdi fuel pump . if it is that can i fix the pump of my own?Also the fuel pump close to the tank i thought. Please if you have solution advises let me know . Thanks | |

| Hello Andros, I had the same problem just days ago. The car was loosing power until it stopped completely and I was not able to start the engine. In the beggining I thought the same but I cheked the fuel pump and everything was OK After many tests, I discovered an inyection problem due to a fault of the ECU. It was repared on a speciallyzed workshop and now everything is OK. I also recomend you to clean the admision system with a specific liquid. |

| I have the problem with my Mitsubishi pajero io 1999 model. The car is loosing power until it stop completely and I have tried to check for the problem but i cannot detect. GDI was clean but at times even level counter cannot reach the maximum. In the beginning I thought it was the fuel pump and everything was OK. help |
