| Problems: | even after repalicing the all engine and gear box mount the car vibrate speciall for the revere gear and when the air condititioner is on. it has done about 85000 km .no body can correct it sofar. deos it need tunning of the engine? | |

| hi, i have had the same problem with the same car for about a year and it was fixed this weekend by a knowledgeable mechanic that i met on this site. the reason why the vibration wont stop even after replacing the mounts is that you are using the ordinary mounts for other cars instead of genuine mounts for that car. the regular mounts have a hard rubber in the middle that transfers instead of absorbing the vibrations whereas the genuine mounts have a soft rubber centre. my car is now silent and running smoothly and i am happy to share in the solution since i have also shared in the frustration. look for especially the rear mount which is made of aluminium. let me know how it goes and if i have been helpful. cheers! |
