| Problems: | while cruising looses speed and would not change gears or does it with dificulty.The o/d off light and oil gauge flikkers. It does so only when engine is hot.What should i do? | |

| What should I do when my car starts to have problems with the o/d off lights and the oilpressure chauge lights start to flikker and feel that th e speed wouldnt change. There is oil in the car and cooling liquid in the rediator pls advice me what i should do next? |

| If you have been changing the oil and filter at correct intervals with the correct grade of oil, it sounds like a blockage problem with the oil pump. If you haven't been changing engine oil every 8,000km and filter every second change, there is the cause .. suggest you change at 5,000km and new filter every time for 3 or 4 changes to clean up the engine. Don't forget to change the transmission oil every 30,000km as well, that fixes most gearchange problems. |
