Problems: | About a week after driving my car off the used car dealer's lot I am experiencing a slamming in the transmission. When this happens there is a sudden jerk forward. Am being told this is a CVT transmission and no mechanic is willing to address the problem for me. What do I do? | |

Have you changed the transmission fluid and filter? Regular automatic transmission fluid is not to be used. Honda ATF-Z1 fluid is not to be used. Honda CVTF fluid is to be used, any other fluid WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS. If that's done and the problem persists then take it to ATL(beware if you do) or Superior to see if they can help. |
