| Problems: | When starting from cold, if I depress accelerator swiftly car will backfire severely. Problem becomes less severe when heated up. Probably also lacks acceleration. How likely is it that the timing chain has stretched thereby causing the problem. All thoughts much appreciated. | |

| hello boy i just got myself a 97 cl 420 she was running rough so i put 8 plugs in her but still not perfect revs to 4000 and the fumes smell funny any idea,s my brother says could be a coil plug not working how will i know if its a cat ...thankyou ps any ideas |
