| General comments: | I have removed the belt that links the pump to the Alternator to avoid messing the new pump. The car is now on a manual steering wheel. | |
| Problems: | My car heats up the power steering fluid therefore scorching the Plastic Container that holds it. The power steering pump starts to make some noise like it is struggling to pump the ATF. The original pump got stuck after all the ATF spilled following the over heating and melting of the plastic container that holds the ATF. I have changed the container, the pump, the steering rack and checked all the pipes for blockage but still the problem persists. | |
