| Problems: | The car has some screeching noise at start up especially in the morning went to the mech he advised that was an exhaust pipe leak at the joint which looks like a mesh and is what is also causing high consumption. The thing was replaced but the same noise is still there and consumption is still high. Could it be the timing belt? any advise? Regards | |

| Check your alternator cable it is worn out and the rains are not helping it grip as it is rotated. You can go under the car at the front wheel let someone turn the wheel if you see the cable vibrate the its either loose or worn out, let me know if this helps. |
