2001 Nissan Serena gear box problems in Kenya

| Problems: | Started by loosing power, then jacking when in a low speed, followed by delaying gears, hard start when hot & then just just loosed gear no. 5,4,3 & 2 now it can start engage gear No. 1 but it cannot move past 20km/hr. Diagnosis says that the step motor is faulty. Is there repair/ we will need a new gear box and how am i sure that it's gonna function? | |
