2007 Kia Picanto engine emission control system problems

| Problems: | Engine light appeared on dash board, with a second or two cutting out. Computer dianogsed the knock sensor, replaced knock sensor, but problem persists. Do not have a lot of money, therefore cannot afford to keep going back to mechanics. Please advise what problems have been diagnosed before with similar reaction as described above. | |
