General comments: | in this photo, select photo no. 4 for the white car. My car is also white and is the same car shown here. I'm in Nairobi, Kenya. I need a quote on a used part, if you don't have a used part, how much is a new ECU? Also, can you recommend some place to ship it for repairs? How long does it take if you find a used part for it to get to Nairobi? Thank you. Mary
Problems: | The Engine Control Unit has stopped working. My mechanic has re-adjusted it once then it worked for one week and it stopped. Part No. 279721-224 VIN: DY3W256796

ecu can not just be adjusted. it is pre-programmed electronic device. it is not like a laptop or desktop that any one can put out or put in some kind of program or adjustment. the first step to resolve your car problem is to install a scan tool to diagnose the problem. ecu will show problem of your car if you plug the scan tool on car diagnostic socket which is located underneath the steering wheel. your mechanic must know that , if not get a real professional mechanic/technician or better yet, take your car to the mazda dealer. there they have the right tool to diagnose the real problem of your car. save you headache.. |
