| General comments: | Car is regularly serviced and until this incident has given no problems at all | |
| Problems: | The car will start perfectly and tick over is within range However if I touch the accelerator the car cuts out. The vehicle is automatic and if I put the car into D then it drives OK although there is noise from the exhaust. The AA is baffled and my local garage feels it may be the catalytic convertor Do you have any views on this unusual problem?! | |
