1999 Mercedes-Benz A160 problem with gear transmission

| Problems: | my car benz A160 is an automatic and when i start the car F comes on the panel instead of P and when i change the gear lever it does not change accordingly to N or D OR R. and worse still there is no power when starting off and it maintains being in one high gear through out i.e the gear does not change like the way automatics do. i need your help, whats the problem and what should i do | |

| Have the same problem, car had a service in December, and not right since - exactly the same. MB have now had my car for six weeks and still cant find fault - they are saying it is not their fault...but admitted liability first time it happened but not now. This actually sounds like a 'callback' fault - but again MB are denying this |
