| Replacing the expansion vavle is extremely necessary when replacing the compressor since the accumulated old debris of the previous compressor in the expansion valve can severly harm the new compressor. May be your initial problem is clogged or malfunctioning expansion valve and not the compressor, so first try with changing the expansion valve only. |
