1999 Mitsubishi Chariot Grandis i can't operate the tv cause its japanese language problems

| Problems: | I bought this car 2 weeks ago from a car dealer. It has a TV & Radio written in japanese language. At first the TV & Radio is working but when I drive the unit to bring it home the TV & Radio turn off and when I turn it on again the message in the TV monitor say's MULTI COMMUNICATION SYSTEM in blue color and when I switch ON the RADIO, there's only ONE "1" RADIO station....How can i fix this problem? | |

| Hi Roderick, I had the same problem with mine. The car normally comes with a communication system which is mounted either under the drivers seat, or on the dashboard. This system has a cd that when placed in picks settings that it uses for visual operation. Every time you switch off the car and put on it has to pick those settings, so when it misses the settings (cd) it brings that message. The previous user should have given you that cd. The mear fact that it was working when you picked it means he had it. If not, try and find one. It will work fine. |
