| Problems: | I have enjoyed my Mitsubishi Grandis for 2yrs, but lately has developed jerking and lack of power. Also spark plugs and exhaust are very sooty, increasing fuel consumption. What's the solution to have this beauty running again? Please help. Could it be fuel filter? Here they are rare and cost US197! | |

| HALLO SIR, I'M DRIVING A 1998 MODEL AND SOME OF THE ISSUES WITH THIS ARE RELATED TO THE MASS AIRFLOW SENSOR; TRY AND DO YOUR SERVICE AT 3000 RATHER THAN 5000KMS; IMPORTANT: IF THE CAR IS SHOWING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAVE IT DIAGNOSED WITH A COMP BY COMPITENT TECHNICIANS AVOID GUESS WORK; FINALLY MAY I SAY THAT THE FUEL PRESSSURE COULD BE AN ISSUE MEANING THE FUEL PUMP COULD BE FAULTY BUT ALL THIS CAN BE DIAGNOSED BY THE COMP. YOU CAN CALL ON O721 70 51 98 TO HAVE A VISIT TO MY MECH AND COMP TECHNICIANS. I WOULD FIRST LIKE TO DRIVE OR JUST SEE THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE CAR BEFORE REFERING YOU TO ANYONE THIS CAR CAN MAKE YOU SICK!! IF TAKEN TO INCOMPITENT TECHNICIANS. |
