2001 Mitsubishi Lancer fuel gauge doesnt rise in dashboard problems

| Problems: | i ve problem with the fuel gauge in my lancer 2001.it shows empty and empty light remains on. i ve checked wiring, fuel gauge and also replace full dashboard meter with another same lancer car but doesnt work still.if the tank is even full, there is no rise in fuel gauge at dashbord. any solution for this |

| Hi dear, its not the fuel guage on dashboard.you have to replace the sender unit which is inside fuel tank,also check the voltage at sender unit to confirm any voltage drop.. do it and let me know if you have any questions let me know sunny from www.bdsautocare.com |

| Dear Sir, I have a lancer I bought in India . Wikipedia says it is a 1995 to 2033 model which was marketed in India. One fine morning It refused to start. There is no pump hum. took out the back seat and checked the voltage on the connector on the tank . There are three pins. The center is negative . The right pin showed 12.4Voltas and left pin shows 6.2 volts. The fuel gauge is also not working. kindly let me know what to do to start the car.Joy |
