2001 Mitsubishi Lancer no accelration.the car refuse to power up when you accelerate problems

Problems:The car at a standstill takes forever to start moving.it seem to have a fuel problem cause you can press the accelerator to the floor and the car wont barely move

check / replace fuel filter.
check fluid level on your transmission if you have automatic transmission.
fluid level must be check when engine is warm and running at idle speed.
you will need assistance to check fluid.
to do it.
start engine and let it warm up.
while engine at idle speed.
ask some one to step on the brakes while driver place the shifting lever to drive position.
place shift lever to drive for at least 10 seconds then place to neutral position,
while in neutral, pull the dipstick of auto-transmission and check the level. you may need to repeat this.
add fluid if necessary
