Problems: | The car stalled on the road while driving. It cant start. The timing has been redone, valves checked and gasket changed. The fuel pump seems to be working. The car cranks bud it doesn't start. Anyone who can help, I will appreciate. | |

Hi, I had 3 problems with my 2001 Cedia. 1. It could crank, but it wouldn't start. 2. It switches off during idling unless you unplug the airflow sensor. 3. It does not engage gears. I am still struggling to find a solution to the last two. The first problem was fixed by some motor-electrician I was referred to. I can give you his name and contact if you are interested. Hi Could you try and have your throttle body checked together with the airflow and airflow sensors, if the the engine is nit having a good mixture of air it may have problems starting or idling. Where did your ladt fuel the car before it stalled,some fueling stations are doing a shoddy job and let rain water get to the tanks and if you are the unluck recipient of water in your engine then.. Check your spark plugs as well i use iridium ngk on my galant and they stopped some idling issues i had James |
