1994 Mitsubishi Pajero abs light on and pump keeps running problems

| Problems: | Started car this morning, the ABS light came on dashboard, I heard an unusual noise and found that the abs pump was running. After some fiddling, I disconnected the left side cable and it stopped although the light didnt turn off dash. Any idea what the problem is?? Is it ok to drive with cable disconnected?? How do i resolve this problem?? Some advice would be greatly appreciated. |

| I have the same car and same problem. I had to remove the relevant fuse out but I need a permanent solution. Now ABS is out of service, any help?? Regards |
