| The light comes on, once the SRS ECU detected an unexpected state of one of the elements connected to it (sensor, actuator or cable/connector problem). The light will not go off automatically, even if the problem was only temporary. It needs to be reset, using an OBD (Onboard Diagnostics Device) tester (any brand able to read/display Mitsubishi systems or the Mitsubishi MUT. |
