1998 Mitsubishi Pajero burning out glow plugs problems

| Problems: | engune starts really good but when the engine is started from cold and the glow plugs get voltage to keep the engine running smoothly , the glow plugs are getting between 13 and 15 volts(depending in the engine revs) which is too much for 11 volt glow plugs. It is burning out 3 sets of glow plugs per year. I have checked the relay and it seems to be fine , I tried the control unit from another Pajero and it did not make any difference. any ideas ? |
