1995 Mitsubishi RVR overheating and oil loss problems

General comments: | Bad Points: Drinks petrol like an alcoholic drinks alcohol. Slow acceleration. Slow uphills. Sounds like something out of star wars. Good Points: Drives well well designed inside. comfortable and I love the sliding door. | |
Problems: | The car overheats when i drive it for more than 5 minutes. I've topped up the radiator with water and the engine with oil. Everything else appears to be ok. The strange thing is that the dip stick is showing no oil at all. I can't see any leaks and no oil smoke comes from the engine. V strange. |

Hi we have the same problem with ours my garage have diagnosed either a blown head gasket or a cracked head and we decided to buy something else so not good news by the sounds of things. regards Peter |

hiya i have rvr auto petrol 2350cc sport gear so i have oil is empty at the mo..i cant buy oil because i need what type of oil...15/40??? something like that?? help will be great |
