| There can be various solutions to this problem. If you have had the differential oil change it might be because of that, otherwise taking it to the dealer and getting the ecu hooked up might indicate the actual problem which can be a stuck solenoid valve only requiring replacement. If that is not your cookie then take it out and clean it and try again! |

| For mine it was one of the vacuum control valves (Pajero 4, but I think the system is similar). As a diagnosis, if the same error dos not occur when you drive in 4x4 for any amount of time, then it is the valve. |
