Problems: | my car mitsubish pagero io 96 model is not developing. the limit speed is 70 km per hour even if i press the pedal at the end. the rotation is up to 2000 rpm. what can i do to solve the problem | |

It appears that the engine is running on the limp home mode. There is an electronic problem somewhere which doesn't allow the ETV to operate properly. Have you car checked with MUT III and record any trouble codes, then erase them if the TC is recorded again then you must perform a proper repair to the offending part. |

You don't say say which IO you have. Anyway. The pressure of the high injection pump seems to be correct. You must make sure that the ETV is operating smoothly. Sometimes there is fuel leaking from the pump and mixes with oil, the vapours from this are sucked into the engine the number 4 and 3 cylinders are running very rich. The sparking plugs colour ( always black) is not a good indication of the A/F strength since in this engine the mixture strength in the vicinity of the sparking plus is always rich. |
