| Problems: | i have a 97 Mitsubishi chariot, when you start it, it makes a horrible squealing noise, seems to stop when you accelerate but as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator its back again. after you've driven about 10ks the noise gets quieter ????? | |

| I have experience the same problem with my Grandis. Try checking for fan belts. You have two fan belts. One is 5PK940(shorter) and 5PK1390 (longer). Try to splash water on the belts, if the sound disappears then replace the particular belt. I applied some oil on then 5PK940 belt and the noise disappeared. |
