Problems: | My 1991 Nissan Serena Passenger 4 Door Van has a Fan underneath the Motor [which is under the front seats] that sometimes comes on seconds after the ignition is turned off. It usually turns off after about 5 mins. Neither my Garage nor an Auto Electrician have been able to rectify or understand the problem. When it was disconnected the Dash Lights [Oil & Hand Brake possibly others]stayed on when driving . It is now reconnected again. Please Help at 75yrs this is making me very nervous. 1. Is this harming the vehicle. 2. Is it dangerous. 3. How can it be fixed if indeed you see it as a problem. Thanking you in anticipation, Erin Farrant. | |

The fan u are referring to is available on most Serena older models. It is the radial fan that is intended to provide some form of cooling to the engine. if it does not make any noise, it is okay and is part of the vehicle |
