1996 Nissan Terrano flashing "engine check" light problems in New Zealand

| Problems: | I have a 2.7td turbo with intercooler.I have checked and changed fuel filter found no water.Water float seems to be free and slides up and down OK. I have checked air flow meter on intake line-it was clean and seems complete and the connections to the wiring are secure. New engine oil and filter just done also replaced the air filter. - I first noticed the problem after crossing deep water, a few months ago, but at that time the light came on for long periods and engine sometimes went into "get you home mode"- this seemed to correct itself. Now during the last few days, it's started flashing at any revs then comes right for a day or do, before happening again. It is not affecting the drivability of the car. What else should I check? |
