1998 Toyota Hilux Surf four wheel drive system problems in New Zealand

| Problems: | I haven't had to use the full time high or low four wheel drive system before, but just recently i had to put the four wheel drive shift into low 4 to try and pull the boat off the beach, only to fail because only the front left and rear right wheels would drive. Is this normal or shouldnt all four wheels drive when it is in low 4?. Or is there a problem with the four wheel drive system? Even when it is in high 4 I would have thought all four wheels would drive?. Did I purchase a real four wheel drive or just a Toy Ota? Pls help? Cheers. | |
