Problems: | I have recemntly brought the Toyota Wish 2003 1.8cc. I was just wondering what the blue light sign is on the dahboard to the right of the steering wheel as you look at it? Is it something to do with the water or letting you know what the temperature is outside the vehilc? Hope u can help Gary |

Hi Gary The blue light is to signal that the engine temperature is cold. When it goes off, it is a sign that the engine has reached its operating temperature. Have you noticed that the light only comes up when the engine has been started in the morning, or after it has been standing for a good few hours? Have you noticed that the 1.8litre WISH does not have a temperature gauge? Keep an eye out for the same blue light sign appearing in RED... this is a sign that the engine temperature is very high... if that is the case, it is a sign for you to stop and switch off the engine imediately. I hope this helps. Vee (NZ) |

Blue light in the morning. When I start and I understand that it is a signal that the engine temperature is cold. Can I start driving when the blue light is still on? |

My Toyota wish stopped last night and cannot start, the blue temperature light keeps on blinking but the vehicle doesn't start. Anyone knows what is the problem. |
