2002 Nissan Liberty high revs problems

| Problems: | car damaged gearbox bearing and it was replaced. car started to have high revs of 3500 for speeds as low as 60km/hr and it was overheating. then the metal belt broke. i bought a new gearbox but still the car is having the high revs problem. i am not sure what to do now. some say its the electrical part of it but there is no check engine light |

| I suggest you go with your car for a diagnostic test, for checking the electrical components e.g speed sensors,steper motor e.t.c |
