1997 Nissan Mistral crack on left middle plate of engine problems

| Problems: | the car came in to my job to be scrapped.(parts). i saw potential in it and decided to restore it to its former self. the problem lies in the engine bay. looking at the engine from the drivers side wing the manifold is visible on the side and under that there is i crack on a plate bolted to the engine. im not a mechanic clearly. so i dont have a clue whats wrong? is this too much work (€). i paid nothing for it so it has cost me nothing so far. | |
