2001 Nissan Primera transmition sometimes stuck in low when i sellect drive problems

| General comments: | anyone who have a suggestion that would help please let me know please? | |
| Problems: | sometimes when i put d car in drive u could feel it engage n as u ease off d brake it start moving then u know it low gear, u will go to 3500rpm 0r 4000rps its d same d speed goes to about 25 to 30. if u go in reverse its full of power, so i have to pull over a few times n turn off d engine every time after about 5 or 7 times it sometimes work sometimes i have to drive a few miles at about 1700 to 2300 rpm then it will work. |
