| General comments: | the car is serviced through nissan every 6 months next service due in june ,have the car 2 years now ,no other problems before this | |
| Problems: | the engine cuts out while driving, the engine then turns back on straight away , engine management light has turned on since the last time this has happened | |

| i have a 2005 xtrail model. i have similar case problem with you and i would suggest if you can go to nissan service center to have it check your management sensors may be malfunctionong and it will be checked thru their computerised diagnostics. I'm sure that the engine light indicator is on even if the engine is on. normally when you start the engine it will light for just 2-3 seconds and then the indicator light is off. hope you will find it right and solved your problem |

| i have an automatic nissan x-trail 2005, when i drive on a steep hill and suddenly I stop the engine cuts off. It only happens when I go up. I recently paid por a tune up and after that the engine stills cuts off on the same basis. The engine never goes off on a flat surface or going down the roud. Could you please reccomend me what to do? |
