1997 Opel Kadett E fuel supply problems

| Problems: | Good Day My Opel Kadett 200is seems to have a fuel supply problem. After running low on fuel before limping to a garage the car ran for a very short distance jerking and stuttering as though low on fuel. My initial thought was that possibly I had picked up some dirt from the tank and this had caused a blockage in the fuel line. I replaced the filter thinking that that would be a logical site for such a blockage. this did not correct the problem. When standing still the car idles and even revs perfectly fine, but as soon as i try driving it starts again with the jerking and stuttering which gets progressively worse over the course of a few minutes until the car dies and refuses to start. Please, any feedback would be greatly appreciated as this is my only transport. | |
