2007 Toyota Passo low fuel consumption problems in Pakistan

| Problems: | I have recently purchased Toyota Passo model 2007. I am noting its fuel average on full tank which is giving an average of 7.6 km per liter..Its too low average. I have cahnged its engine oil, oil filter and air filter. What more should i do to get good petrol average? Pls advise? What kind of engine tune up can be done as there is no spark plug system in it. | |

| Hi Rizwan, I have recently purchase a Toyota Passo 2006. The original average on the car was stated as 9.6 Km / L. But after driving it for a while I have noticed that the average has shot upto 10.1 Km / L. I am constantly measuring the fuel consumption, and I have noted its all upto the driver to control it. If you drive the car on a constant speed using low torque during pick up you ll find the average to go up. Average I believe is calculated on the total driven statistics, so now its upto you to make the new average. You don't know how it was driven earlier. | i also have 2006 passo 1000cc and it gives about 135 km per 9.4 ltrs i.e. fuel of rs. 1000/- in city area and easily covers Mardan to Rawalpindi Saddar in the same fuel on motorway. average mileage on motorway is 15 to 20 kmph. drive it on smooth foot and dont push it hard |

| Rizwan it is fuel injection vehicle. full the Tank and put Liqui Moly Fuel Injector Cleaner in the tank . It will clean the fuel System and will give good millage. |

| I have Passo 2014 I had noticed that fuel consumption is increasing day by day any honest suggestion from friends? thanks to a brother who had mentioned to rest for 12 hours with terminals off any further suggestion. |
