| Problems: | Automatic transmission third gear engagement problem. Sometimes the transmission gets stuck in 2nd gear. If I switch off the engine and restart the car, the problem will go away. If the car is idling for more than 5 minutes in park or neutral position, the dashboard monitor says "Automatic transmission fault". When I drive off the transmission sticks on 2nd gear and will not change to 3rd gear. A diagnostic test has revealed that there is a problem between 2nd and 3rd gear but it does not specifically reveal what that problem is. | |
