Problems: | The problem started when we went up Baguio, Philippines. From the foot of the climb up to our destination, the engine overheated twice that forced us to stop and let the engine cool down. Since then the pull of the engine has greatly decreased when the road is inclined going up. | |

For overheat the engine, you have to check the water pump and check of there any leak on the car water pipes. |

Yes the culprit might be your faulty water pump, probabably the inside thermostat ceased to open causing blockage of water circulation and overheats. After having it fixed try adding water coolant to assist your engine cooling system, water won't reached boiling point. Goodluck hope this helps. My unit is Starex H1 99, running fine. |
