| dear lobanga i also have 3 duets and my 2 duets had the same problem..so wot i did here in pakistan...my mechanic has disconnected the immobilizer security system..its very insafe way but we have no any other solution here for it specifically for duet. because its an old car and majority cars and their parts have been destroyed. u can do it for ur car too if u dont feel it unsafe. my car dosent need any key for starting. i simply move the coller we say it chutki here. and car start. i love this car but now days i am in tension because my excel seals are leaked and no original seal is available here in pakistan. we have made in china copies here in about 5$ and 5$ for replacing it. so i have to spend 10$ monthly for this seal. transmission oil costs me about 20$. what can we do !!! if i want to drive it i have to pay for it.its costly yeah. but no solution... |
