Problems: | my car burns fuel everytime i full my tank it runs dry. its like every two days i have to fuel up and i dont do much driving please help me out | |

maybe the gas station is cheating you.. ok.. excessive fuel consumption could be of a lot of reasons. first is to have the engine properly tuned by professional mechanic/technical who is well verse on fuel injected type engine. (assuming your engine is fuel injected) also ask the mechanic to check the filler neck/hose of your fuel tank, check for any leak along the fuel lines and fuel filters and all other parts of the fuel system. install correct sparkplugs specified for your engine. your lancer should have "ngk bkr5e" sparkplugs. base on service manual i am reading now. |

Check the air sensor in your vehicle a lot of time this is the main cause. Also, as Gary had mentioned check the tuning to see if this is functional as well. |
