2000 Mitsubishi Chariot Grandis power on overtaking problems in South Africa

| Problems: | Have been driving this car for the since 2010 and was doing fine. Some four months ago the car had problems on accelerating especially when overtaking. It gives some jecking and fails to exceed 3000rpm. Took it to a mechanic and diagnosed a low fuel pressure and another error on the injector circuit. Fitted a new high pressure pump (the one that sits in the fuel tank) and it still doesnt perform beyond 3000rpm. Anyone with ideas? | |

| theres a gdi pump on ur engine! Thats were ur problem is. Your car has a safe/filter in e tank, so most of e time we service e car we dont clean e safe, so as tym goes on dirt is pumpd 2 e engine, but first 2 e gdi pump. Inside e gdi theres another safe/filter. Clean it and start e car. |

| ma chariot does da same en on da duet i changed da plugs en it improved on da mitsubishi chariot dont know pliz help. |

| There is high pressure pump attached to the engine, that needs to be serviced and calibrated. That will sort the problem. I had a similar challenge with my Chariot. |
