| Problems: | 2004 1.8T PASSAT Tiptronic Automatic. 160000 kilometers. The car is driving along fine, then suddenly there is a great CLUNK! from underneath which shakes the whole car as though you had hit a pothole (but the road is smooth)and then the car continues along fine, it happens at various intervals and distances. It seems to come from the general area of the gearbox, Any ideas as to what could be the cause?? | |
