| I had the same problem with my passo there are 2 ways to fix this problem it depend how much noise is comming. behind brake paddle remove the carpet (make sure the wheels are straight) you will see universal joint this is where the noise is coming from. there are 2 bolts upper and lower mark universal joint and upper shaft with a magic marker loosen these bolts and push the joint up with screw driver and pull it out take some engine motor oil in a small pan and put uni joint in it for 2 hours. clean it and install it in reverse order aline the mark. the reason is there are 2 rubber grommet dry rot. they swell again in the oil. if this trick fix it you are god to go otherwise you need to buy new one. its easy work.
