| Problems: | THE CAR WAS IMPORTED FROM JAPAN IN SEP 2009 FROM JAPAN TO PAKISTAN ,WHEN EVER WE TRY TO GIVE RACE TO THE CAR APROX ABOVE 3000 RPM ENGINE START DOING MISSING AS NORMALY CARS DO WHEN GOES TO FULL RPM FUEL INJECTORS CUT OFF AUTOMATICALLY. IF WE DRIVE THE R2 SLOWLY IT KEEPS ON GAIING RACE AND GOES TO OPTIMUM BUT IF WE WANT ACCELERATE IMMEDIATELY THE ENGINE DOESNT PICK UP RACE OR RELESES THE POWER TO RUN CAR FAST EITHER IF WE KEEP THE ACCELRATOR PEDEL PRESSED FOR FULL ENGINE GOES TO HIGHER SOUND BUT STILL IT DOESNT GOES FASTER AS CAR DRAGING TI SELF MISSSING + PICK UP SPEED SLOWLY , WHILE IT SHOULD GET IMMEDIATELY . PLEASE ADVICE WHAT NEEDS TO DONE TO CHECK AS WE HAVE NO SUPPORT FOR SUBARU IN OUR COUNTRY.ITS INJECTORE NEEDS TO BE OPENED OR WHAT SHOULD BE THE PROBLEM.... WE ALREDY CHANGED THE SPARKSPLUGS, AIR FILTER AND OIL | |

| I also own subaru R2 2005. having same problem. took my car to mechanic. he told me that the transmission is CVT (continous variable transmission) which is far different than regular 3AT or 4AT automatic transmissions. In this type of transmission if you Rev it doesn't go back to previous gear and accelerate but stays in the same gear and tries to pick up speed. We have to live with it nothing can be done. |
